So, this is 2026. We may be living in strange times, but let’s never lose sight of who we truly are. Let’s hold onto hope. A hike on New Year’s Day to kick off 2026, in 17 F. With my adventure partner @eliothesundog. The lakes are freezing solid! Poor pup is not of fan of freezing rain! He’s enjoying all the snow SO MUCH more, than pouting so he can be dried off in a huge fluffy towel. 🥹 2025: The Year in Review! Snow and frost any day, over freezing rain! The end of this year marks the end of a resolution — one which I think I lived up to fairly well — and the end of an experiment to be more “Expressive.” In 2025, I not only launched a Substack blog, but I chronicled many adventures in the process, shared glimpses into who I am at heart, and creating a variety of ways people can enjoy content. Whether you’re just here to see more Aurora, or you want to experience the world (and all its flaws and vulnerabilities) alongside me… I’ve got you covered!
