Stole some sunshine from Houston, Texas. Finally! It’s hard to imagine a better pool to kick off a year of swimming in January! I swam laps on at least seven occasions. Glorious! 🥰 Flying back to the cold, snowy north, I could barely process the beautiful pinks and reds I was seeing at twilight. I guess my iPhone couldn’t quite process it either! I stand with Minnesota! Artist Riina Ryynänen Loar has created a Rebel Loon to commemorate the Day of Truth and Freedom, and honor your bravery and your care for our communities. 💙 New! The next book I’ll write will be one celebrating the photography community. Inspired by the Michigan Aurora Chasers, I’ve decided to devote a year to publishing YOUR full-color photographs of Northern Lights in Michigan. As the book editor, I hope to publish photos from over 100 photographers in a beautiful hardcover book. I’m calling it the “Shape of the Sky Project!” Our collab can take place via email once I get the Entry Form posted in February. Ice fog? Or…
