Photo of Melissa in the Arctic Circle — On my third trip to the Arctic Circle, I got to experience truly dark skies even though Aurora was being shy. Interestingly enough, the Northern Lights resort where I was staying created a lot of its own light pollution. Everyone can take steps to reduce our impact on the dark sky, and help preserve our view of starry skies and painted nights.

Dark Sky Advocacy! As Aurora Chasers, Milky Way Admirers, Stargazers, and Nature Enthusiasts, we owe it to ourselves to help preserve the beauty of our dark skies.
