Meet the U.S. Aurora Chasers

Created July 24, 2026, the United States Aurora Chasers is a Facebook Group that helps people in the lower 48 states of the U.S. and surrounding areas chase, experience and photograph the Northern Lights! We welcome people of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Our community is mostly driven by Live Sightings, which notify people when the Aurora is expanding deeper into the U.S, and the mid-latitudes. In this group, when you see a sighting near you, you have a chance of catching the Northern Lights.
