Life is flying by! Lately, I have been consistently busy leading our Live Chase to catch the Aurora, taking news interviews, giving public talks, hosting events, and planning for the next great thing to come.
That reminds me! Registration for the Aurora Summit is now open: TheAuroraSummit.com
In the last decade or so, I have learned to adjust for the unexpected and become so very adaptable. The only thing I now lack is planning! Haha… That’s ok. My favorite natural phenomenon in the world is something you can’t plan for, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Being able to greet the whims of the universe — and all of its magic — has been rewarding in its own way. I do apologize, though, for not giving you more advance notice to my next upcoming event…
You’re invited! If you happen to have some free time on the holiday weekend, come out to Lansing, Michigan, for the Official Book Release Party of “Beyond the 45th Parallel: The Beginner’s Guide to Chasing Aurora in the Mid-latitudes.” This will be very casual with an opportunity to buy snacks and beverages from a local pub, a chance to buy books and get them signed, and the opportunity to ask me all of your Aurora Chasing questions!
If you can’t make it, don’t worry. The journey continues! There will be many more opportunities to meet in person.
Official Book Release Party
7:00pm, July 5, 2024
Jimmy’s Pub: Event Room
Lansing, Michigan
Please update your RSVP: https://www.facebook.com/share/yS5uUwSTumXAJuiB/
Or, if you prefer, I have also found a way to offer those who are interested an autographed copy! These personally mailed books will likely by limited to U.S. residents. Order a signed copy!
Good luck on the Aurora Chasing trail!
G’day Melissa
Thanks for the invite, I’d love to be there … but.
I live in Australia, about 18 hrs away by jet, so I’ll have to give it a
miss. This time.
If I’m ever out that way I’ll make the time to join in one of your
aurora hunting parties but, until then, my best wishes for your book
release. Hope it goes well, you have a great time and response, and it
gets more bums out of seats of an evening to discover the beauty of
skywatching.
Kindest Regards
Ish
