“If you could create anything during the global pandemic, what would you want to leave behind?”
After the spread of COVID-19 forced people to stay home, I wanted to do something positive during the global pandemic. I decided not to focus on my own writing, but instead to shift the spotlight to focus on others.
So, I reached out to a group of authors and artists from the virtual community, and we came together to share our creativity and connect across the space of social distancing.
Soon, we will release a new anthology that features artists from a variety of backgrounds, including poetry, fiction, nonfiction, art and photography from both published and unpublished authors and artists. Every piece was collected using social media, drawing submissions from creators across the U.S.
Keep an eye out for the Social Gap Experiment Anthology, slated for release on Amazon by December 2020! We’ll share our talents in live video events and look for more ways to support one another during these difficult times. Proceeds from the sales of the anthology will benefit those whose lives have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
